Awards and Certifications

    Throughout the existence of UAOWF, it has received several awards and certifications.

Since the 19th 

of July 2011 the organisation UAOWF is the proud owner of the certificate of Registration, this means that we are officially registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation.

 

 

    Next to that UAOWF is a fully paid up member of the Iganga NGO forum. This forum is an umbrella body comprising of over 100 CBO/NGOs.

    As an NGO in eastern Uganda, UAOWF participates in the competition for best performing NGO. On the 11th of October 2012 the organisation was awarded 2nd best out of 38 NGOs in eastern Uganda.
